Rain, Rain

While growing up on the farm, the weather could be a life saver or detrimental to the crops. I remember my dad watching out the window worrying if we would get rain. Other times he would have to run the irrigation in the fields from water gathered from the river.

I never thought about saving water until moving to California. Again I am reminded how all the resources we need are at our fingertips. We need to stop, think and be more resourceful.
